 Spend a week to see the magnificent cities of Munich, Salzburg, and Vienna. In addition to the in-depth city sightseeing in the main cities, highlight visits are included to King Ludwig's fairytale castle in Neuschwanstein; a stop in Mondsee to visit the Parish Church, where Maria married Von Trapp; Mozart's birthplace in Sound of Music Salzburg; and Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna. Also enjoy the pretty city of Innsbruck, in Tyrol, and a Danube cruise on the way to Vienna. An optional excursion to Berchtesgaden, Hitler's Eagle's Nest, is available, and an entire day at leisure in Vienna allows the possibility to join an optional excursion to Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. You may also wish to visit one of the operetta concerts in one of Vienna's elegant concert halls. Of course, a farewell dinner at a local restaurant has been included. It's a lovely trip for romantics.

Scenes from the Sound of Music will delight you both during the morning tour and on the available optional excursion to Berchtesgaden and Hitler's Eagle's Nest. (B) | | Day 5 | Vienna | This morning, visit the PARISH CHURCH in Mondsee, which was used for the wedding scenes in the Sound of Music. Next, enjoy a leisurely DANUBE CRUISE along the most scenic section of the river, before arriving in Vienna, once the center of the mighty Habsburg Empire. An optional excursion to the wine village of Grinzing is a possibility tonight. (B) | | Day 6 | Vienna | Start your guided sightseeing with a visit to magnificent SCHONBRUNN PALACE. Next, enjoy vistas of Prater Park with its giant Ferris wheel, and the United Nations City on the banks of the Danube River. Then, drive along Ring Boulevard, pass the State Opera House, the Jewish quarter, and stop at the Hofburg Palace, winter residence of the Austrian Imperial family. Marvel at the impressive courtyards, famous Heldenplatz, and awesome St. Stephen's Cathedral. Tonight, why not take in an operetta concert in one of Vienna's elegant concert halls? (B) | | Day 7 | Vienna | A whole day at leisure and lots to do! Don't forget to savor Sachertorte and watch the jolly crowd in one of Vienna's famous coffee houses. Air-Inclusive Vacations
Air-inclusive prices provided online include a September 11th fee up to $10, passenger facility charges of up to $18, Federal domestic flight segment fees of up to $3.50 per segment and U.S. and International arrival and departure and other government imposed fees between $200-$375 depending on your itinerary. The total airfare price, the base airfare price, and the applicable government taxes and fees are broken-out line-by-line and shown while booking online and on the invoice after your travel is booked.
